Who's doing the work
Sage started Green Haven working Gulf Coast yards around North Port, and the business has grown the way most good local trade businesses do — one referral at a time, not through a franchise rollout. That matters for a tree and lawn crew specifically: knowing a property means knowing which oak on the lot has been favoring one side since the last big storm, which lawns run St. Augustine versus Bahia, and which canal-front yards need a different watering schedule than the same-looking lot two streets over.
We're a small, owner-led crew, not a big regional operation with rotating subcontractors. The person who quotes your job is the same person whose name is on the truck, and the same crew comes back for your recurring mowing, hedge trimming, or seasonal storm-prep work — so a tree job doesn't start over from zero every time somebody new shows up.
How we work
Every job gets a walk-through and a free quote before anything is scheduled — no surprise line items after the work is done. We explain what a job actually involves and why it costs what it costs, whether that's a single tree trim or a full-property landscape design. We answer the phone 24/7, including through hurricane season, because that's exactly when Gulf Coast homeowners need a tree or storm-debris call answered fastest.
Green Haven carries insurance for the work we do on your property, and every crew member is trained on the equipment they run — chainsaws, rigging, mowers, and grading equipment all carry real risk, and we don't cut corners on how our people are trained to use them.
Where we work
We're based in North Port and serve Sarasota County, Charlotte County, Manatee County— eleven towns from Myakka City down to Placida, all covered by the same crew and the same standard of work, not a city-by-city franchise patchwork.
