Australian pine is named on our removal page with melaleuca as a tree prone to snapping or uprooting in wind. The service is tree removal. It is invasive growth, not a species we plant, and not a shade tree we thin into a keeper by default. On a coastal lot that already takes wind, it is a removal conversation. Leaving it over the roof because it is tall and green is how the next gust becomes the emergency call.
The species is not a menu price. A slender one in the open and a mature one over the house are different jobs. The removal page stays in words: a few hundred dollars to several thousand. We will not publish a tighter band for this tree than we publish for an oak. The stump, if you want it ground, is extra and unpriced until the walk. Grind, cut flush, or leave.
What it looks like here
People point at a tall, fine-textured evergreen that is not a pine from the woods they grew up with, often near the coast or a canal where it was planted decades ago or spread on its own. The failure is mechanical. It breaks, or it goes over, in wind that a sound live oak might shed. Crown thinning is for a tree worth keeping. We will not sell a light thin as a way to keep an Australian pine in a bad spot and call it storm prep.
It is not Brazilian pepper, though both get cut as invasives, and it is not a sabal. Do not ask for a palm trim on it. Do not ask us to include it in a foundation planting. Designs keep brittle and invasive species off the house. If it is already there, the planting plan starts after it is gone, not in front of it.
What we do
We walk it, quote the takedown and the haul, and tell you if more than one trunk is hiding in what looks like one tree. Access, the roof, and the drop zone move the quote the same way they do for any removal. We do not forestry-mulch a stand of them as a land-clearing service. One yard tree or a clump in a landscape is this ticket. A permit question goes to the city or the county that actually has the address. We check. We do not file the form, and we do not invent the fee.
If the tree is the one that worries you before June, call before a system is on the map. The removal service is tree removal.
