Ligustrum is one of the fast hedges on North Port lots and at community entrances. The service that keeps it in bounds is hedge trimming. In the warmest stretches it often needs attention every four to eight weeks. Hibiscus is in that same fast group. Podocarpus is the one that can sometimes wait longer. If you want ligustrum, you are choosing speed and a shorter interval, not a plant you visit twice a year.
The price band for the visit is $75–$400 or more. A row kept on that four-to-eight-week rhythm stays in a cheaper kind of visit than a row that became a recovery. Height, length, and debris are the spread. A range, not a bid. We measure the row. We do not price it from a property-appraiser width. Fast growth is why a route exists. One visit a summer will not hold this shrub at a line.
What it looks like here
Kept ligustrum is a bright, even face. Neglected ligustrum is a shell. Shearing only the outside for years leaves a twiggy skin and dead wood underneath. You will see this on old hedges that were topped the same way every season. We thin interior wood when it needs it. We do not shear so hard in peak heat that the plant is stressed when it cannot recover. Cutting it to the dirt because a notice said immediately can end the screen.
It is not the low plant under a window. It is not coontie. Used as a privacy wall it works if the spacing respected the mature width. Used as a foundation blob it is in the soffit in two years. We would rather put it on the property line, with the height rule in hand, than sell it as a cute pot.
What we do with it
We cut to the line, haul the clippings, and tell you the interval in plain language. A route is how the fast growth stays a hedge instead of a project. One cleanup can rescue a row that still has green inside. A row that is dead wood is a replacement conversation, and we will say that before we sculpt a stump. HOA matching is the height you send us, not a fee for having heard of a board.
Say whether this is the recovery or the first visit of a schedule. That sentence changes the quote. Book it at hedge trimming.
